Thanks to all of our members who came out to this Month’s chapter meeting! Even more so, we’d like to thank Kenan Bubela and Clayton Bynum from USAA for coming out and talking with us. Both Clayton and Kenan are Bobcat Alumni, and provided incredible insight into how a large, long-standing company like USAA is still able to innovate. Proactively they create solutions not yet discovered in the Insurance industry, for example in the past they were the first to introduce mobile check deposit. More recently, they went to great lengths to help victims of Hurricane Harvey by creating a service with which you could check the status of your home even if you had evacuated. All of their projects start with one question in mind: How can we help our members? They were able to speak on the work culture at USAA with well over ten years of combined experience and spoke to the value they hold for their Members, as well as their employees.
We are extremely thankful for their insight to our questions, and to USAA as a whole. We are also looking forward to their sponsorship of this years U.S. Information Technology Collegiate Conference! Check out the pictures below in case you missed this event.
