The U.S. Information Technology Collegiate Conference (USITCC) is intended to provide students who are studying information systems, information technology, and/or computer science (or closely-related disciplines) with an opportunity to showcase their skills, engage in IT-related competitions, and explore career opportunities.
The event organizers have more than two decades of experience in delivering superb collegiate conferences for IT students. This year’s event promises to be more fun than ever!
At the 2021 USITCC South Central Regionals this past weekend – a team of 9 students made the long trip to Amarillo, TX to compete in 7 different IT competition events with Kevin Jetton as the van driver and team chauffeur.
In addition to a having a bit of fun time at the Cadillac Ranch and a traditional Texas style dinner at the Big Texan Stea Ranch, they managed to take home these 5 conference wins:
Network Design: 1st Place Emoline Gonzales
Systems Analysis & Design: 2nd Place Austin Armstrong & Trent Stapleton
Database Design 2nd Place: Sujata Duwal and Josh Avery
Application Development: 3rd Place Sarah Manion
Office Solutions: 3rd Place: Nia Moffett & Shahmeen Razzak
